New post, some small changes in layout, new song on repeat (this time "Run" from Snow Patrol) ....
I was wearing the same outfit from our night out, because many of you asked me about complete look, so here it is. My favorite comfy "semi" baggy jeans, striped shirt, black shoes and bag paired with flowers on my new denim jacket, and of course pink lipstick. Something that can be worn during the day or night. Don't you just love these types of outfits? ;)

Spring Colors in Midtown

I passed by this stunning woman in Midtown on my way to an appointment. I  immediately had to turn back to ask if I could take her photo. I was thrilled when she agreed as she is a great inspiration for us all to dress up and feel good everyday.

Carola at Off Broadway Boutique

This past weekend Carola and I had so much fun playing dress up at Lynn Dell's Off Broadway Boutique. We picked out this wonderful dress and Carola joked that she looked like a geriatric Carmen Miranda. Carola is always so open to trying new things and she was a perfect model for this stunning dress.

Ruth has more energy than most people half her age. At 100 years old she makes it a point to stretch everyday and attend Pilates classes once a week. Ruth told me that even if she doesn't feel like exercising she tells herself, " Just do it" and it always makes her feel better. Ruth looks elegant no matter what she is doing. She says, "I wear lipstick, even when I have to go to the hospital. You never know who you are going to meet." I am honored to be able to spend time with such an amazing woman and hope she can influence all to stay active.

Lengendary Dancer Jacquie "Tajah" Murdock

It's always an honor and a pleasure to photograph dancer, Jacquie "Tajah" Murdock. Not only does she continue to dance into her 80s, but she also dresses up everyday no matter what. Jacquie grew up in Harlem, always dreaming of being a model and a dancer-She knew at five years old that she wanted to dance. A few years ago The Apollo Theater recognized Jacquie as a legendary dancer and one of her dreams came true. I hope Jacquie can inspire everyone to stay active and never forget their dreams.

I was rushing to meet a friend uptown and jumping out of my taxi, when I noticed this amazing woman from across the street.It's always wonderful to come across people who express themselves through artful and colorful expressions of personal style.

Last year, Swedish television program, State of Style filmed me and some of the Advanced Style ladies for a spot on their show. I just discovered this clip online and wanted it to share it with everyone!

This weekend I met up with Rita Ellis Hammer. We had a wonderful time discussing my upcoming book and we got some great photos of Rita modelling some fun Spring looks.I always have so much fun hanging out with her and going through her amazing wardrobe. Black and Gold

I have been zooming around the city to show all the ladies their photos in the Advanced Style book. It's always a pleasure to get together, catch up, and of course see what they are wearing. Maryann was absolutely thrilled to be in the book and I'm so excited for everyone to see her great photos.

A Technicolor Coat

I noticed this woman's wonderful coat from across the street on 5th Avenue. I quickly rushed up to her and asked if I could take her photograph. It's always refreshing to see a burst of color in a crowd of people mostly clad in black. She was happy to pose for a shot in front of Bergdorf's and even gave me view of the back of her amazing jacket.

5th Avenue Elegance

This weekend I scanned the busy block of 5th Avenue looking for visual inspiration. My eye was immediately drawn to this gorgeous hat. I snapped a quick shot of the hat from behind, in hopes that I could eventually make my way through the crowded streets, and catch up to the elegant woman wearing it. I finally found a break and made my way to ask her if I could take her photograph. I told her that I loved how elegantly she was dressed and that I wished people still dressed up as beautifully as she had. She told me, " This is my look, it's how I dress everyday." The Advanced Style ladies take pride in their presentation-notice how perfectly she matches her hat, head scarf, lipstick and earrings. After I finished taking her photograph, I gave her my card and we said goodbye. I get to meet the most amazing people walking around the streets of New York. I really love what I do and I hope these images provide everyone with a little bit of positivity and inspiration.

I was wearing ripped bleached jeans, stripped t-shirt, denim jacket ( which is a new addition to my wardrobe) and flowers. Look that can be worn by day or night, depending on your make up. Practically or what?
